Day Of Silence~

Today the world stops for a moment. The sounds that usually echo in the air are now silent. This is the Day of Silence, a day that invites us to reflect on ourselves and appreciate silence. A day where everything stops. No cars. No motorbikes. No lights. No sound.

However, this silence isn't just about the world becoming silent for a day. It is about what happens inside when everything outside becomes silent. Silence feels uncomfortable at first. When the distractions disappear, the mind becomes louder. Thoughts become deeper and unresolved emotions are instantly forgotten. We always spend most of our lives running from noisy places. Filling it with sounds, shouts, with work, with tasks, with non-stop movement.

But today, the world is so quiet, the morning is so bright, the sun rises softly, emitting a warm golden light. However, there is no sound of birds chirping, as if following the rhythm of the world that has become silent, there is no roar of vehicle engines, there are no sounds that usually accompany the days. So quiet, still, and peaceful.

People spoke in low tones, enjoying the silence that enveloped the city. They were silent for a moment, some were looking at the flowers that bloomed beautifully in the yard and some were busy listening to the gentle breeze. The night brings a beautiful sky with stars and galaxies that illuminate, but tonight there is no moon to illuminate. Today many of people reflect on life, including me, evaluating what they have achieved, and planning what they will do in the future.

On this Day of Silence, we are invited to leave the noise and chaos of everyday life. We are invited to find ourselves, listen to our inner voice, and find true peace.

Being silent in silence is difficult to do when the mind is never quiet, on the contrary when it is quiet the mind becomes noisy and many things come irregularly.  Today is a day without disturbance, and can't escape anywhere we want, just to stay in a silent and cold empty space.

With the day of silence we are reminded to take a break from the mortal world, so use it as best you can to take a break from this world, use your tolerance wherever you are, appreciate everything that is united in this world with the differences that make mortal life colorful.

So, let's enjoy this silence, let's reflect on ourselves, and let's find the peace we seek and take a break even if it's just for a day.

Happy Silence Day.
